AreYouWashedInTheBlood AlanJackson-PreciousMemories
Have you been to Jesus
for the cleansingpower?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Are you fully trusting in
His grace thishour?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
[Chorus:]
Are you washed in the blood,
In the soul-cleansing blood of the Lamb?
Are your garments spotless are
they whiteas snow?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Lay aside the garments
that are stainedwith sin
And be washed in the blood of the Lamb.
There"s a fountain flowing
for the soulunclean.
O, be washed in the blood of the Lamb!

BlessedAssurance AlanJackson-PreciousMemories
Blessed assurance,Jesus is mine!
Oh what a foretaste of glory divine!
Heir of salvation purchase of God,
Born of His Spirit washed in His Blood.
This is my story this is my song,
Praising my savior all the day long
This is my story this is my song,
Praising my savior all the day long
Perfect submission, all is at rest,
I in my Saviour am happy and blest
Watching and waiting, looking above,
Filled with His goodness, lost in His love.
This is my story this is my song,
Praising my savior all the day long
This is my story this is my song,
Praising my savior all the day long

WhatAFriendWeHaveInJesus AlanJackson-PreciousMemories
What a Friend we have in Jesus,
all our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry
everything to God in prayer!
O what peace we often forfeit,
O what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry
everything to God in prayer.
Have we trials and temptations?
Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged;
take it to the Lord in prayer.
Can we find a friend so faithful
who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every weakness;
take it to the Lord in prayer.
Are we weak and heavy laden,
cumbered with a load of care?
Precious Savior, still our refuge,
take it to the Lord in prayer.
Do your friends despise, forsake you?
Take it to the Lord in prayer!
In His arms He’ll take and shield you;
you will find a solace there.
Blessed Savior, Thou hast promised
Thou wilt all our burdens bear
May we ever, Lord, be bringing all to
Thee in earnest prayer.
Soon in glory bright unclouded
there will be no need for prayer
Rapture, praise and endless worship
will be our sweet portion there.

HowGreatThouArt AlanJackson-PreciousMemories
O Lord my God,
When I in awesome wonder,
Consider all the worlds
Thy Hands have made;
I see the stars,
I hear the rolling thunder,
Thy power throughout
the universe displayed.
[Chorus]
Then sings my soul,
My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art,
How great Thou art.
Then sings my soul,
My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art,
How great Thou art!
When through the woods,
and forest glades I wander,
And hear the birds sing
sweetly in the trees.
When I look down,
from lofty mountain grandeur
And hear the brook,
and feel the gentle breeze.
And when I think, that God,
His Son not sparing;
Sent Him to die,
I scarce can take it in;
That on the Cross,
my burden gladly bearing,
He bled and died
to take away my sin.
When Christ shall come,
with shout of acclamation,
And take me home,
what joy shall fill my heart.
Then I shall bow,
in humble adoration,
And then proclaim:
"My God, how great Thou art!"

ILoveToTellTheStory AlanJackson-PreciousMemories
I love to tell the story
Of unseen things above
Of Jesus and his glory
Of Jesus and his love
I love to tell the story
Because I know "tis true
It satisfies my longings
As nothing else can do
I love to tell the story
"Twill be my theme in glory
To tell the old old story
Of Jesus and his love
I love to tell the story
"Tis pleasant to repeat
What seems each time I tell it
More wonderfully sweet
I love to tell the story
For some have never heard
The message of salvation
From god"s own holy word
I love to tell the story
"Twill be my theme in glory
To tell the old old story
Of Jesus and his love
I love to tell the story
For those who know it best
Seem hungering and thirsting
To hear it like the rest
And when in scenes of glory
I sing the new new song
"Twill be the old old story
That I have loved so long
I love to tell the story
"Twill be my theme in glory
To tell the old old story
Of Jesus and his love

IWantToStrollOverHeavenWithYou AlanJackson-PreciousMemories
If I survey all the good things
that come to me from above
If I count all the blessings
from the storehouse of love
I"d simply ask for the favor of
him beyond mortal king
And I"m sure he would grant it again
I want to stroll over Heaven
with you some glad day
When all our troubles and
heartaches are vanished away
Then we"ll enjoy the beauty
where all things are new
I want to stroll over Heaven with you
So many places of beauty
we long to see here below
But time and treasures have kept us
from making plans as you know
But come the morning of
rapture together we"ll stand a new
While I stroll over Heaven with you
I want to stroll over Heaven
with you some glad day
When all our troubles and
heartaches are vanished away
Then we"ll enjoy the beauty
where all things are new
I want to stroll over Heaven with you

I"llFlyAway AlanJackson-PreciousMemories
Some glad morning when this life is over,
I"ll fly away.
To a home on God"s celestial shore,
I"ll fly away.
I"ll fly away, O Glory,
I"ll fly away.
When I die, Hallelujah, bye and bye,
I"ll fly away.
When the shadows of this life have flown,
I"ll fly away.
Like a bird thrown, driven by the storm,
I"ll fly away.
I"ll fly away, O Glory,
I"ll fly away.
When I die, Hallelujah, bye and bye,
I"ll fly away.
Just a few more weary days and then,
I"ll fly away.
To a land where joy shall never end,
I"ll fly away.
I"ll fly away, O Glory,
I"ll fly away.
When I die, Hallelujah, bye and bye,
I"ll fly away.

InTheGarden AlanJackson-PreciousMemories
I come to the garden alone
While the dew is still on the roses
And the voice I hear, falling on my ear
The Son of God discloses
And He walks with me
And He talks with me
And He tells me I am His own
And the joy we share as we tarry there
None other has ever known
I"d stay in the garden with Him
"Tho the night around me is falling
But He bids me go;
through the voice of woe
His voice to me is calling
And He walks with me
And He talks with me
And He tells me I am His own
And the joy we share as we tarry there
None other has ever known

SoftlyAndTenderly AlanJackson-PreciousMemories
Softly and tenderly Jesus is calling,
Calling for you and for me.
See, on the portals,
He"s waiting andwatching;
Watching for you and for me.
[Chorus:]
Come home, come home,
Ye who are weary come home;
Earnestly, tenderly, Jesus is calling;
Calling, "O sinner, come home!"
O for the wonderful love He has promised,
Promised for you and for me.
Though we have sinned
He has mercy andpardon;
Pardon for you and for me.

TheOldRuggedCross AlanJackson-PreciousMemories

The emblem of suffering and shame;

where the dearestand best
For a world of lost sinners was slain.

So I"ll cherish the old rugged cross,
Till my trophies at last I lay down;
I will cling to the old rugged cross,
And exchange it some day for a crown.

Then he"ll call me some day
to my home faraway,

How I"ve proved him o"er and o"er!

TurnYourEyesUponJesus AlanJackson-PreciousMemories
O soul are you weary and troubled?
No light in the darkness you see?
There"s light for a look at the Saviour,
And life more abundant and free:
[Chorus:]
Turn you eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face;
And the things of earth
will grow strangelydim
In the light of His glory and grace.
Through death into life everlasting
He passed, and we follow Him there;
Over us sin no more hath dominion
For more than conqu"rors we are!
[Chorus:]
Turn you eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face;
And the things of earth
will grow strangelydim
In the light of His glory and grace.
His word shall not fail you He promised;
Believe Him and all will be well.
Then go to a world that is dying,
His perfect salvation to tell!
[Chorus:]
Turn you eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face;
And the things of earth
will grow strangelydim
In the light of His glory and grace.

WhenWeAllGetToHeaven AlanJackson-PreciousMemories
Sing the wondrous love of Jesus;
Sing his mercy and his grace.
In the mansions bright and blessed
He"ll prepare for us a place.
[Refrain:]
When we all get to heaven,
What a day of rejoicing that will be!
When we all see Jesus,
We"ll sing and shout the victory!
Onward to the prize before us!
Soon his beauty we"ll behold;
Soon the pearly gates will open;
We shall tread the streets of gold.
[Refrain]
When we all get to heaven,
What a day of rejoicing that will be!
When we all see Jesus,
We"ll sing and shout the victory!
