中华教育改进社旧中国教育团体之一，19冬季成立，由实际教育调查社、新教育共进社、新教育编辑社合并而成。入社社员分两类，一是集体社员，由各级各类学校及教育学术团体、教育行政机关参加；一类是个人社员，为个人研究学术或办理教育有成绩者。该社以蔡元培、范源廉、郭秉文等为董事，美国教育家P.孟禄、J.杜威等为名誉董事。总社设在北京，下设32个专门委员会，如教育行政委员会；高等、中等、初等、幼稚、义务、乡村、师范、职业等各级各类学校教育委员会;理化、数学、生物、国语、英语、历史、地理、美育、音乐、体育等各门学科教育委员会;心理教育测验委员会等。每年开一次年会,到1925年为止,共开年会四次(分别于197月、198月、1924年7月、1925年8月举行）。它以调查教育实况，研究教育学术，力谋教育改进为宗旨。对于欧美教育状况，甚为留意，常派社员出外考察和请外国专家学者来讲学。主要是宣传美国的教育制度和实用主义教育思想，并推行过"智力测验"、"教育测验"和道尔顿制等西方的一些教育方法。该社在当时的教育界有一定影响,对于19壬戌学制的制定，曾起过一定的作用。北伐战争开始以后,该组织解散。所办刊物,主要是《新教育》。
