热压热压hot pressingreyo热压(hot pressing)一种将模压与烧结相结合的成形方法,又称静热压(statie hot pressing)、加压烧结,也称活化烧结。它是将金属粉末装在模腔内,平稳地加压同时将粉末加热到正常的烧结温度或稍低一些的温度,经过较短的时间,烧结成致密而均匀的制品。为了使预热粉末或预压压坯不被空气氧化或氮化,热压过程必须在保护气氛或真空下进行。热压模的选择原则一般是:低温高压工艺可选择金属或硬质合金模;高温高压工艺则选择石墨模。尽管人们对加压烧结和热压这两个术语交叉使用,但这两个工艺过程却各有侧重。在加压烧结中,强调的是热过程;在热压中则着重强调施加的压力是主要的可调变量。热压技术的特点是:粉末致密化以及脱模所用的设备和工序与冷压和烧结工艺无区别,所不同的是热压时间较长,即在特定的压力及温度下,通过塑性变形、蠕变及扩散使粉末压坯充分密实所需的时间较长,因此生产率降低,成本较高。但由于热压工艺可大大降低成形压力(为冷压成形的十分之一),缩短烧结时间,制造密度极高、晶粒极细的材料,它们常用来制造硬质合金及陶瓷刀具、拉丝模及大型、异形薄壁管、薄片,还可以压制硬而脆的碳化硼及陶瓷制品。在密闭模中热压金属粉末是粉末冶金方法中最古老的方法之一。19和19德国和美国分别获得了钨和碳化钨粉热压制造致密件的专利,19以后欧洲和美国生产了圆柱形的拉丝模,从1930年起热压技术发展更快。近年来又发展了真空热压和振动热压,为了提高生产率还研制出实现连续热压的竖式和卧式连续热压机。(张齐勋)
