中法汉学研究所法国在中国开设的学术研究机构。1941年在北平(今北京)成立,前身为《法文研究月刊》出版委员会。经费主要来自中法庚子赔款余额。由法国驻京使馆聘请汉学家铎尔孟任所长，使馆秘书杜伯秋主管行政。珍珠港事变后，燕京大学停办，该所乃扩大编制，除原有研究员杨瀍（社会学）、曾觉之（法国文学）、傅惜华（俗文学）及法国青年汉学家施来麦、甘茂德外，增聘燕大教授高名凯（语言学）、聂崇歧(历史学)及原燕大引得编纂处职员多人。所址设在东皇城根原中法大学校舍。1945年前，该所设有通检（引得）组、民族研究组、历史考古组、翻译组、《法文研究》组,图书馆,附设法语夜校（由原中法大学教师任教）。抗战胜利后,原燕京、中法大学教职工回校,杜伯秋调回巴黎,工作一度停顿。1947年该所隶属巴黎大学，改名"北平汉学研究所"，由巴黎大学中国学院院长戴密微任所长，汉学家韩百诗主管行政，青年汉学家李嘉乐、于儒伯等来华参加工作。经费由法国外交部文化司拨付。1949年后实际上停止工作，1953年正式停办。该所出版物有：①通检丛刊。出版《论衡》、《吕氏春秋》、《风俗通义》、《春秋繁露》、《淮南子》等十余种通检。②《汉学》学报。 共出三辑(1942、1947、1948)。③展览会目录三种:民间新年神像(1942)，18～19世纪之法国汉学(1943)，明代版画书籍(1944)。④图书馆馆刊。⑤《法文研究》。自1933～1945年共出三十六期。⑥《艺文萃译》(1945)。在通检编纂、民俗研究及中法学术交流方面作出了一定的成绩。该所图书馆收藏有中国民俗、方志、笔记、小说、汉代壁画拓片等珍贵书籍。
