仿形机床仿形机床copyingmachine按照样板或靠模控制刀具或工件的运动轨迹进行切削加工的半自动机床。若配以机床上下料装置，仿形机床可实现单机自动化或纳入自动化生产线中。某些通用机床带有仿形装置附件，也可实现仿形加工。仿形运动可以分为平面仿形和立体仿形等。1578年，法国的J.贝松首次用仿形法加工木制装饰品和螺纹。此后机械仿形的机床随之出现，至19世纪得到推广。20世纪70年代以后，由于电子技术和数字控制机床发展较快，仿形机床逐步减少。液压随动作用式仿形原理（车床）直接作用式仿形原理（铣床）仿形机床的控制方式有直接作用式（如机械仿形）和随动作用式（如液压仿形、电仿形等）两种。直接作用式仿形机床是把仿形触头与刀具刚性联接，弹簧力或重锤使仿形触头与样板保持接触，机床工作台纵向移动时，样板曲面传力给仿形触头，使刀具执行仿形运动。这种控制方式的缺点是样板上承受的压力大，仿形精度不高。随动作用仿形机床是把样板给仿形触头的位移信号转换成电信号（电压）或液压信号（压力差），经功率放大后驱动机床执行部件。采用这种控制方式，样板和触头承受压力较小。仿形机床包括仿形车床、仿形铣床和仿形刨床等。此外，还有某些专用仿形机床，如叶片仿形铣床、模具仿形铣床、螺旋桨仿形铣床等。
