《史记》《史记》中国第一部纪传体通史。汉司马迁撰。初名《太史公书》，又称《太史公记》、《太史记》。元封三年(前108)，司马迁继任父职，在太初元年（前104）参加制定《太初历》后，开始撰写《史记》。经10余年努力，终于成书。该书记事起于传说中的黄帝，迄于汉武帝，历时3000余年。所述史事，详于战国、秦、汉。据《太史公自序》记载，全书130篇，包括12本纪、10表、8书、30世家、70列传，共52.65万字。该书的宗旨是探索天道和人事之间的关系，研究历史的发展和变化，作者提出了“忠”——“敬”——“文”这一朝代更替的周而复始的固定公式。这种认识并不科学，不过当时人们也只能达到这种认识水平。该书取材丰富，对《左传》、《国语》、《世本》、《战国策》、《楚汉春秋》及诸子百家多所采摘，又利用了国家收藏的档案、民间保存的古文书传，并增添了亲身采访和实地调查的材料。作者在广泛取材的同时，又注意鉴别和选择材料，表现了审慎的科学态度。在中国史学发展史上，该书堪称第一部规模宏大、体制完备的中国通史。由它开端的史书纪传体影响深远，后来历代的正史都采用了这一体裁。它的大部分文字生动精练，写人叙事形象鲜明，对中国后世的散文和传记文学有良好的影响。司马迁死后，了解该书的人并不很多。汉宣帝时，司马迁的外孙杨恽祖述其书，公布于世，从此开始流传。该书现存早期的版本之一南宋黄善夫家塾刻本，被公认为善本，经商务印书馆影印收入百衲本《二十四史》。1959年中华书局出版标点校勘本《史记》，便于阅读，所据底本为金陵书局刻本。 《史记》书影（南宋黄善夫家塾刻本）
