桑品种鉴定(appraisal of mulberry varieties)1.生长的鉴定 每一品种都具有一定的物候期，在育种过程中应按时观察调查，作主评审依据。①发芽期：选择枝条中上部的正常芽，调查其膨芽、脱苞、鹊口及开叶日期。②桑叶成熟期：在春期及夏秋期，分别调查从开叶到最大叶面积(成熟叶)所需天数。③桑叶硬化期：以枝条中部桑叶为准，调查桑叶的硬化早迟。④停止生长期：枝S支条顶部停止生长时期。落叶期，叶片脱落50%以上的时期。2.产叶量鉴定 春叶产量在春桑5龄盛食期进行。主要调查总芽叶重，新梢梗重，1kg叶片数等，然后算出条、梢、叶比例，1m长产叶量及亩产叶量等。3.叶质鉴定：分春叶及秋叶两次进行。鉴定方法以生物鉴定(即用鉴定品种的桑叶饲蚕)为基准，通过蚕的生长发育结果来评定叶质的优劣。4.抗逆性鉴定：①抗旱性一般在夏秋干旱季节调查。②抗寒性在冬季落叶至春季发芽前调查。③抗病性的鉴定，一般在田间自然条件下，按照各种病害的发生时期进行直接观察调查，也可用人为诱发(病原接种)进行鉴定。
