露点仪测量气体露点的一种物性分析仪器。露点可以简单地理解为使气体中水蒸汽含量达到饱和状态的温度，是表示气体绝对湿度的方式之一。因此，露点仪是一类特殊的湿?燃?。常用的露点仪有冷凝式和氯化锂式两种。冷凝式露点仪 图1为一种最简单的露点仪，称为露点杯。它的工作原理是：使具有光亮表面的金属圆筒与被测气体(例如环境空气)接触，此金属圆筒内盛有容易气化的液体，如乙醚。用手挤压橡皮鼓气球，将乙醚蒸气从筒内驱出。乙醚快速气化而从周围吸收大量热量，从而使杯内剩下的乙醚液体和金属圆筒的温度迅速下降。当温度降到稍低于周围气体的露点时，金属圆筒表面即凝结水露而失去光泽。此时温度计上指示的数值即是被测气体的露点。另一种常用的冷凝式露点仪是自动光电露点仪。它的基本工作原理与露点杯相同,但是结构复杂得多。它采用光电控制系统，使一面反光镜的表面温度保持在露点上、下很窄的范围内，并自动记录此温度。这种露点仪精确可靠,可测露点范围宽,但要求被测气体洁净和不含腐蚀性气体或可能在反光镜表面凝结的有机蒸汽等成分，主要作为实验室内湿度精确测量和二级湿度标准装置用。 氯化锂露点仪 图2为氯化锂露点仪的检测元件。它的主体是一支薄壁金属管，其外表有一个玻璃丝织的套子，套子里浸有氯化锂浓溶液。套子外绕有两支并行的加热铂丝。铂丝的一端固定在玻璃丝套的顶部，另一端固定在底座的接线柱上，通过导线同交流稳压电源连接。当此元件处在待测气体中时，氯化锂浓溶液便从周围气体中吸收水分而变稀。于是，溶液导电性提高，通过溶液的电流增大，溶液温度随之升高，蒸发水分的速度变快。这样就产生了刚好相反的效应，即溶液变浓，导电性降低，电流变小，温度下降，蒸发速度变慢。只有在溶液蒸发水分的速度与它从周围气体中吸收水分的速度相等时，即处于平衡状态时，才能使溶液浓度保持不变,因而通过的电流不变,管子的温度保持恒定。氯化锂从周围气体中吸收水分的速度与气体中水蒸汽含量（也就是气体的绝对湿度）有关，因此，最后达到平衡状态时的温度反映出周围气体的绝对湿度。在薄壁金属管内设有测温元件，在它的显示仪表上便可直接用被测气体的露点刻度。这类露点仪主要用于金属加工件的渗碳热处理等过程中气体的湿度监控、空气调节和气象测量等。
