电流型逆变电路由电流型直流电源供电的逆变电路。图a为单相电流型逆变电路的主电路。由图可见,直流电源通过大电感Ld向逆变电路供电。由于Ld的作用使逆变入端电流id平滑连续。电流型逆变电路具有以下特点。①输出电流i0为交变方波且与负载无关(图c):图a中当理想开关器件T1T3导通而T2T4截止时,输出电流i0=Id;当T2T4导通而T1T3截止时,输出电流i0=-Id。因此当T1~T4轮番通断时,i0即为交变方波,其重复频率f取决于T1~T4的控制极电压的重复频率。②输出电压u0的波形随负载而变:例如在纯阻负载下,u0也为交变方波;在具有选频性能的某些负载下,u0则可呈正弦波(见并联逆变电路)。③可双向传递功率:在任何情况下,逆变入端电流id方向如图a所示。因此当逆变入端电压平均值Uβ=Ud>0(方向如图时,表示逆变负载向交流工频电网吸取能量,逆变入端平均功率Pβ=UdLd>0;相反,在某些工况下,Uβ=Ud<0,即逆变入端电压平均值反向,于是Pβ<0, 表示逆变负载中交流电能反馈回交流电网。可见,该电路具有双向传递功率的功能。若负载为交流笼式电动机, 采用三相电流型逆变电路供电以构成变频调速系统,当电机运行于电动机状态时,Pβ>0,电机向工频电网吸取电能;当电机突然减速时, Uβ<0,Pβ<0,电机运行于再生制动状态,电机中能量反馈回工频电网。④故障下的电流抑制:由于Ld的存在,当逆变短路时,可抑制id的迅速增长;在有控制的保护功能时,还可以使整流电路的控制角α(见相控整流电路)>90°,使Ud<0,贮存在Ld中的能量反馈回电网,可抑制短路电流。电流型逆变电路的典型应用领域是:①绕线式交流电动机串级调速系统;②高压直流输电;③感应加热电源;④笼式交流电动机变频调速系统;⑤无换向器晶闸管电动机。由于电流型逆变电路具有双向传递功率的特点,由它构成的调速系统比较适用于具有频繁变速和起动、制动的生产场合。
