止血止血用于各种出血病证的治法。适用于吐血、衄血、咳血、便血、尿血、崩漏等各种出血证。根据出血证的原因不同，止血法的具体运用又有清热止血、益气止血和祛瘀止血三种治法。清热止血适用于血热妄行或热伤血络所致的出血证。常用白茅根、侧柏叶、小蓟、槐花、地榆、犀角、生地等药物组成方剂，代表方剂如十灰散、四生丸、犀角地黄汤、泻心汤等。益气止血适用于气虚或阳虚，失于固摄，血失常道所致的出血证。常用黄芪、灶心土、炮姜、附子、艾叶等药物组成方剂，代表方剂如归脾汤、黄土汤等。祛瘀止血适用于血痹阻脉络，血行内阻，血不循经所致的出血证。常用桃仁、赤芍、三七等组成方剂，代表方剂如宫外孕方。临床上具体使用本法时应注意以下4点：①应掌握病情的标本缓急。②出血过多，气随血脱，当急以益气固脱。③止血过急易致留瘀，需适当配以活血祛瘀药物。④血随气升降，有时需适当配合调理气机升降的药物。
