《采菽堂古诗选》汉魏六朝诗选集。一名《采菽堂定本汉魏六朝诗钞》。38卷，附补遗 4卷。编者陈祚明(1623～1674)，字胤倩，号嵇留山人，其书室号采菽堂。杭州人。清顺治十三年(1656)入北京，以清客身份遨游公卿间。工诗，取法唐人，格律精整。存诗集《嵇留山人集》21卷，本名《敝帚集》,收录1655至1673年之间所作,按年编次。《采菽堂古诗选》的撰辑在1659至1663年之间。陈氏死后，康熙四十八年(1709)，由他的学生翁嵩年刊行。此书是以明冯惟讷《古诗纪》为底本编选的。大略起自汉代，迄于隋代。杂收汉魏六朝乐府和文人的诗作。全书前有凡例,说明选诗宗旨,并对作家作品有简单分析评论。每首诗后都有评语。诗题下常有解题。对入选作家有简介。陈氏崇信《文选》，推尊陶渊明，于陶诗几乎全录；此外，则多取曹植、阮籍、谢灵运、鲍照、谢朓、沈约、庾信等家。其评语以及对于艺术手法的分析和前后句义的说明，重在个人感受，多为后来的选诗家引用。清代乾嘉以来，《古诗源》大行于世，《采菽堂古诗选》通行不广。
