塑料模具常识--铸塑铸塑尼龙-6有较高的强度、耐磨性、耐擦伤性和回弹性。浇筑反应大多在大气压力或非常低的压力下进行,所以铸塑生产的尼龙比挤出或模塑生产的尼龙有非常明显的优势。如玉挤出尼龙相比,铸塑尼龙有较高的结晶度和分子量,有较好的尺寸稳定性、容易的机加工性、较高的模量和热变形温度。 因为铸塑尼龙的大小和形状不受限制,故其有较大的灵活性。用低价的工具可生产形状简单的铸塑尼龙,生产周期也短;复杂的部件则需要在复杂的工具中生产。在社恩杆中尽量不使用价高的铸塑机。内酰胺单体在模具中进行阴离子聚合反应,最后转化为聚合物。因此无水酸催化过程的反应不良、转化效率低,因此人们多选用件催化反应以得到更好的结果。50年代以来发展了助催化剂,60年代后期发展了更有效的生产机械加速了铸塑尼龙的商业化进程。
