扶正祛邪扶正祛邪扶助正气祛除病邪的临床治疗法则。在一定意义上说，疾病的过程就是正气与邪气矛盾双方斗争的过程，邪胜于正则病进，正胜于邪则病退。所以治疗疾病，须扶助正气，祛除邪气，改变邪正双方力量的对比，使疾病向痊愈方面转化。补虚泻实是扶正祛邪法则的具体运用。常用的扶正法有益气、养血、滋阴、助阳等；常用的祛邪法有发表、泻下、渗湿、利水、消导、破血等。临证运用扶正祛邪法则时，应细致观察正邪双方长消盛衰的情况，根据邪正在矛盾斗争中所占的地位，决定扶正祛邪的主次和先后。扶正适用于以正气虚为主要矛盾，而邪气也不盛的虚性病证。祛邪，适用于以邪实为主要矛盾，而正气未衰的实性病证。此外还有扶正祛邪兼用，使扶正不留邪，祛邪不伤正。先祛邪后扶正用于邪盛正虚，但正气尚能耐攻的情况下，如兼顾扶正反会助邪，先扶正后祛邪，适用于正虚邪实，以正虚为主的病人。
