水溶性纤维分子式：CAS号：性质：指能溶于水或遇水缓慢水解成水溶性物的纤维。有四种：(1)聚乙烯醇(PVA)，溶解温度65～95℃，强度3.0～5.0cN/dtex；(2)海藻纤维，一般采用其钠、钙等盐；(3)羟甲基纤维素纤维；(4)聚丙烯酸盐纤维。制法有：(1)采用PVA干纺和低温低倍拉伸及硼酸处理；(2)将藻酸钠溶于水中配制浓度8％～9％原液进行湿纺；(3)碱纤维素经氯醋酸醚化而得；(4)聚丙烯酸钠水溶液经溶液纺丝而得，制造过程避免接触水。用于制造高支麻纱、薄型凹凸毛织物、立体感绣花、纺织和造纸浆料、缝合线和止血纤维等。
