羽管键琴羽管键琴harpsichord拨奏弦鸣乐器。音译为哈普西科德，16世纪至18世纪盛行于欧洲的键盘乐器。在形制上与现代的三角钢琴相似，但琴弦是用羽管拨奏而不是用琴槌敲击。每根弦是由固定在每个琴键末端木制支柱上的1个羽毛管或硬皮拨子来拨奏的。在支柱另一面的顶端是一小块起制音器作用的毡子。当琴键按下时，支柱抬起，拨子拨动琴弦。琴键放开时，支柱落回，但特制的、可转动的拨子经过琴弦时不再拨动。琴键静止时，制音器接触琴弦，阻止其发出声响。因此，羽管键琴只是在琴键实际按下时才能够发音，在琴键放开后它不会继续鸣响。而且演奏者不能像钢琴那样通过改变手指的压力来变化力度(强，弱)。18世纪中叶比较典型的羽管键琴有两个键盘，每个键盘各有5个八度的音域，从C下面的F1到高音C上面的f2。这类羽管键琴一般有几个音栓，演奏者可以通过对音栓的控制来获得不同的音高和音色。这时的羽管键琴与早期的不同，它有两个踏板，一个是合成踏板，用于改变音栓（以使演奏者的手不用离开琴键去推拉音纽）。另一个用来控制可改变声音音量(强)的威尼斯增减音器装置，很像管风琴中使用的增减音器踏板。现代制造的羽管键琴几乎都用踏板来替代手动操作的音栓。羽管键琴的历史可追溯到14世纪英、法和西班牙的一种拨弦键琴棋盘琴。羽管键琴的声音明亮、清澈，具有金属的光泽。但羽管键琴音量单薄，对指触的力度变化反应甚微，音响的强弱对比较差，19世纪初，逐渐被钢琴所替代。同羽管键琴的机械结构相仿的拨弦键琴有维吉纳琴和斯皮内特琴。维吉纳琴主要是指长方箱式的琴，琴弦用键盘平行，每音一弦，特别为英国人所喜爱；斯皮内特琴是指五边形的拨弦键琴，每音一弦，只有一层键盘。这3种拨弦键琴的名称早期曾互相混称，后来通常作如上的区分。
