膨胀蛭石分子式:CAS号:性质:将蛭石快速加热,使其膨胀而形成的轻质材料。呈银白色,含铁高时呈黑色。密度0.1~0.3g/cm3,常温导热系数188.4~226J/(m·h·℃)(45~54)cal/(m·h·℃)。蛭石经快速加热,由于共层间水迅速解脱所形成的水汽而使层状结晶体的间距增大,产生的膨胀值为原体积的10~30倍。此种蛭石经破碎后,按一定粒度分级的产品可作为良好的散状隔热材料,也可作为制造蛭石砖的原料。允许工作温度可达1000℃。
