炼焦用煤炼焦用煤coal for coke makinglianjiao yong mei炼焦用煤(eoa一for eoke making)在焦炉炼焦条件下，用于生产一定质量焦炭的原料煤。为保证焦炭质量，选择炼焦用煤的最基本要求是考察它的挥发分、粘结性(见煤的拈结性)和结焦性(见煤的结燕性)，保证尽可能低的灰分、硫分和磷含量。因此，绝大部分炼焦用煤必须经过洗选。在选择炼焦用煤时，还必须考虑煤在炼焦过程中的膨胀压力。低挥发分的煤，因其胶质体粘度大，炼焦时容易产生高的膨胀压力，对焦炉砌体造成损害，这需要从配煤方面加以解决。此外，在焦化厂的生产成本中，炼焦用煤占很大比重，因此在选择炼焦用煤时，还必须考虑煤的价格和运输距离等经济因素。世界煤炭资源尚丰富，但炼焦用煤资源有限，故必须注意节约使用和扩大其范围。煤按其在炼焦过程中的性状，可分为炼焦煤和非炼焦煤。炼焦煤是指用单种煤炼焦时，可以生成具有一定块度和机械强度的焦炭的煤。这类煤具有粘结性，主要供炼焦用。烟煤中的气煤、肥煤、气肥煤、1/3演煤、焦煤和瘦煤都属于炼焦煤。炼焦煤中的焦煤可以单独炼焦，生产出符合要求的高炉焦。但是焦煤的资源从世界范围来说，都是匾乏的。因此，通常把两种或两种以上煤牌号的炼焦煤，以适当比例进行配煤，然后炼焦，以满足对焦炭质量的各种要求。非炼焦煤在单独炼焦时不软化、不熔融、不能生成块状焦炭。这类煤没有或仅有极弱的粘结性，一般不作为炼焦用煤。但当配煤中粘结组分过剩或需要生产特殊焦炭(如铸造焦)时，可以配入少量非炼焦煤，作为瘦化剂用。非炼焦煤也可以作为生产型煤或型焦的原料。(见型焦用料)揭煤、无烟煤以及烟煤中的长焰煤、不拈煤和贫煤，都属于非炼焦煤。为了扩大炼焦用煤资源，在中国煤炭分类国家标准中，还划分了一些过渡性煤种如贫瘦煤、1/2中拈煤和弱拈煤等。根据各地资源特点以及配煤和炼焦技术的发展水平，有的焦化厂可在配合煤中配入部分过渡煤。如在有一定量强肥煤的情况下，配用一些低灰低硫的弱粘煤，以降低焦炭的灰分和硫分。根据中国冶金系统主要焦化厂1990年的统计，炼焦用煤的煤种比例(%)为:瘦煤9.8，焦煤31.2，肥煤16.9，气煤25.9，1/3焦煤12.8，气肥煤1.7，其他煤1.7。研究和选择炼焦用煤的理论基础是煤化学和煤若学。它们研究煤的生成、煤的化学组成(见煤的分析、煤中矿物质)、煤的老相组成、煤的性质、煤炭分类、煤的化学结构和煤的成焦机理，揭示各种煤的本质和它们在炼焦中的作用，从而为合理选择炼焦用煤，保证焦炭质量提供依据。
