大连大连DalianDalian大连(D alian)中国第二大海滨港口工业城市，辽东半岛的军事重镇，辽宁省辖市。得名于大连湾。地处辽东半岛南端，东濒黄海，西临渤海，与山东半岛的烟台隔海相望，共扼渤海。辖中山、西岗、沙河口、甘井子、旅顺口、金州6区和长海县，面积2 567平方千米，人口257.26万，其中市区面积2 415平方千米，人口248.66万(1993)。秦汉属辽东郡。魏晋称三山，属东沓县。唐置都里镇，属营州都督府。辽属东京道辽阳府。金属金州。元属金复州万户府。明称三山海口、青泥洼口，属金州卫。清属金州厅。1905年始称大连。1894年中日甲午战争被日本占领，1897年12月被沙俄强行租借7年。1905一1 945年又沦为日本殖民地达40年之久。1945年日本投降后，一度由苏军军管。1947年成立关东公署。1950年4月称旅大市。1981年2月称大连市。地处辽东丘陵南翼，千山山脉末端，多山地丘陵，少平原低地，北高南低，北宽南窄，最窄处仅5千米，称金州地峡，为辽东半岛南部“咽喉”。地势由中央轴部向东南和西北两侧的黄海、渤海倾斜，山地多呈北东一南西走向，纵贯全区，500米以上的山峰有18座，主要有步云山、老黑山、桂云花山、大黑山(原大和尚山)。区内多季节性河流，分属黄海、渤海水系，具有短小、独流人海的特点，较大河流有英那河、庄河、碧流河、大沙河、复州河等。海岸曲折，拥有大小港湾30多处，海岸线全长1 906千米，其中海岛岸线618千米，沿海岛屿和礁蛇226个。黄海沿岸为规则半日潮，潮差4米，渤海沿岸为不规则半日潮，潮差1.4一1.6米。市区依山傍海，为滨海山城，属温带大陆性季风气候，富有海洋性气候特征，冬无严寒，夏无酷暑，气候温和，降水集中，空气湿润，季风明显。年平均气温9℃，1月平均气温一5.3℃，7月平均气温22.9℃，年均降水量为800毫米。全年降雪日数10一15天，最大降雪量30-60毫米。11月上中旬土壤结冻，最大冻土深度0.8-1 .1米。境内自然资源丰富，硅石矿、菱镁矿、石英矿、白云石矿、重晶石、石棉储量大。农产品以玉米、水稻、大豆、花生为主，盛产苹果。海洋捕捞和养殖业发达，鱼、虾、蟹、贝、藻篡黔 大连港刘万田摄类俱全，是中国海参、鲍鱼、扇贝、海带、对虾的主要产区，又是重点产盐区之一。1 984年春开始在金州区马桥子(距大连市中心33千米)新建经济技术开发区，现已具规模。
