接地接地grounding为保证电工设备正常工作和人身安全而采取的一种用电安全措施。接地通过接地装置来实现。接地装置将电工设备和其他生产设备上可能产生的工作电流、漏电流、静电荷以及雷电流等引入地下，从而避免人身触电和可能发生的火灾、爆炸以及电磁干扰等。接地的种类有工作接地、保护接地、防雷接地和屏蔽接地等。①工作接地。变压器、发电机的中性点接地，用以保证电力系统在正常和故障情况下具有适当的运行条件和继电保护、自动装置的正常工作。②保护接地。把电工设备的金属外壳接地，以防止绝缘损坏时金属外壳上存在电压危及与之相接触的人员。③防雷接地。用来泄放避雷器的雷电流，降低其上的电位，从而保证电工设备和人身安全，防止火灾和爆炸事故。④屏蔽接地。用来消除静电场、电磁场对人体的危害并防止电磁场对通信和信号的干扰。为达到上述目的，接地装置需有一定的散流能力，即需保证其接地电阻不超过一定的数值。接地装置上的工频交流或直流电压与通过它流入大地的电流之比称为接地电阻。散泄雷电冲击电流时的冲击接地电阻是指电压峰值与电流峰值之比。接地电阻主要是电流在地下流散途径中土壤的电阻，接地体本身的电阻和接地体与土壤接触的电阻小得可以忽略。接地装置由接地体和接地线组成。直接与土壤接触的金属导体称为接地体。电工设备与接地体连接的金属导体称为接地线。接地体分为人工接地体和自然接地体。人工接地体可用垂直埋置的长2～3米、外径为35～50毫米的钢管，或用40毫米×40毫米×4毫米角钢；水平接地体可用直径8～10毫米圆钢，或30毫米×4毫米、40毫米×4毫米扁钢。人工接地体的顶端应埋入地表面下0.5～1.5米。自然接地体可用自来水管或建筑物钢筋混凝土基础等。
