夹杂物变性处理夹杂物变性处理non-metallic inclusions modi-fition treatmentJ旧ZaWU bianxing ehulj夹杂物变性处理(non一metallic inelusionsmodifieation treatment)指在钢中加入少量变性剂,改变非金属夹杂物的结构、组成和形态,从而改变其性质的过程。钢中非金属夹杂物是不可能完全消除的,在尽量降低其在钢中含量的同时,科学地控制夹杂物的类型、尺寸、分布和形态,尽量降低其对钢材质的危害就是变性处理的目的。由于钢中夹杂物的组成、结构等不同,在各种温度下的塑性情况也不相同,常用相对变形率表示其差异: 件且 e2式中。为相对变形率;。:为夹杂物的形变量;。:为基体的形变量。钢中有些夹杂物呈脆性,加工时破碎成链状或串状,此为脆性夹杂物,例如AloO3,尖晶石型氧化物。有些夹杂物塑性很好,加工时沿加工方向延伸成长条状、片层状,此为塑性夹杂物,例如MnS,含510:不高的硅酸盐等,它们的存在成为钢材纵、横向机械性能差异的主要原因。有些硫化物如FeS,熔点很低(1 170一1197℃),可与FeO和Fe生成熔点更低的Fe一FeS二元共熔体(988℃)和三元共熔体(920℃),而且分布在晶粒界上,呈网状析出;钢热加工开始温度为11。。一1150℃,此时晶粒界上的硫化物已经熔化,故一经加工即开裂(热脆)。后来用加锰的方法将FeS夹杂物改变为Mns夹杂物,其熔点为1620℃,可达到消除钠的“热脆”现象,这就是早期对夹杂物变性处理的工艺。还有些夹杂物体膨胀系数与基体不同,可在夹杂物四周引起复杂的应力场。例如铝酸盐、A12O。和硅酸盐在钢的冷却过程中比基体体膨胀系数小,夹杂物四周的基体承受拉应力称为嵌镶应力,使钢的疲劳性能降低。夹杂物变性处理能使夹杂物球化或接近球状,这样可使钢材的各向异性差别减小或基本消除。钢材中变性处理后的夹杂物消除了有尖角、锐角的一类夹杂物,减少了引起应力集中和产生微裂纹的可能性,由于应力集中引起的应力腐蚀也随之降低。并能改善钢材的疲劳寿命,延长切削刀具的加工寿命。而高熔点的夹杂物经变性处理后则变成低熔点的在浇注温度下仍为液态的夹杂物,浇铸时不再堵塞水口,有利于连续铸钢的顺利进行。常用的变性剂为钙合金,稀土合金。工业上大多用含钙合金(如Casi)进行钙处理使夹杂物得以变性。(见钙处理技术)钙及其合金是常用的夹杂物变性处理剂。
