前几期介绍了名词复数的规则变化、名词复数的不规则变化、可数名词。这一期学习英语语法：以复数形式出现的名词表示。
名词有可数名词和不可数名词。
可数名词表示具体个别存在的人或者事物，如girl女孩，apple苹果，phone手机。
不可数名词表示不能个别存的事物或者物质，如water水，air空气，ice冰，grass草。
抽象名词中有一些是可数名词，如exam考试,idea主意，holiday假期，有一些是不可数名词，如advice意见，fun乐趣，music音乐。
可数名词有单复数形式，其中单数形式可以用不定冠词a(an)或者定冠词the修饰。
不可数名词，通常没有复数形式，不用定冠词、不定冠词修饰。
2.以复数形式出现的名数表示
某些名词习惯以复数形式出现，例如trousers裤子，glasses眼镜，shoes鞋子，closhes衣服，可以用pair(双),suit(套)等词来修饰。
a pair of trousers一条裤子
a pair of glasses一副眼镜
a pair of shoes一双鞋子
a suit of clothes一套衣服
有些名词，也可以用few, many等不定量的词来修饰。
a few trousers几条裤子
many clothes许多衣服
注意：
（1）除shoes外，这些词，不能用基数词来修饰。例如，不可以说two trousers, three clothes。鞋子shoe，虽然成双，但可以具体分开来，所以可以说one shoe一只鞋，two shoes，both shoes两只鞋。
（2）people人是一个复数词，不能用来表示单数概念，不可以说a people一个人，two peoples两个人。
而用来表示个体的名词是people人，可以说a person一个人,two persons两个人。但是，当people表示民族时，可以表示单数概念，也可以表示复数。如：
The Chinese are a hard-working people.
中华民族是一个勤劳的民族。
Our two peopleshave always been friendly to each other.
我们两国人民一直互相友好。
