1.butter up
可能有小伙伴疑问，这和“黄油”有什么关系呢？为了更好地理解英语，我们一定要结合英文释义来看。“butter up”的解释如下：to be very kind or friendly to someone or try to please someone, so that that person will do what you want them to do，即“奉承…；拍…的马屁”。
例句：你只有拍了他的马屁，他才会同意的。

2.kiss sbs ass
千万别理解成“亲吻别人的屁股”啊！它是一个英语俚语，意思是：to be very nice to someone in order to get an advantage，中文意思即“拍（某人）的马屁，谄媚巴结（某人）”。
比如：Im not good at kissing her ass. 我不擅长拍她马屁。
3.curry favor
“curry”是咖喱的意思，可是“curry favor”和咖喱一点关系没有啊！来看它的英文解释吧：to praise someone, especially someone in authority, in a way that is not sincere, in order to get some advantage for yourself，即“（尤指对当权者）讨好，奉承，拍马屁”。

4.cozy up to
“cozy up to”的解释如下：to be very friendly to someone with the hope of getting an advantage，也是“巴结讨好人，阿谀奉承”的意思。
比如：She began cozying up tothe boos as soon as she was promoted. 她刚升职就开始奉承老板了。
5. brown-nose
这可不是棕色的鼻子啊，它的英文解释如下：to try too hard to please someone, especially someone in a position of authority, in a way that other people find unpleasant，即“拍马屁”。
