I. Talking about food 谈谈食物

I have to start weaningyou off breast milk.

断夜奶叫night weaning。
You are going to start eating solid foods
你要开始吃辅食了，
like vegetables and fruit and cereal!
蔬菜、水果、米粉什么的！
You are growing
你正在长身体，
and need more nutrients
需要更多的营养成分，
for your body to grow big and strong.
你的身体才能长得又高又壮。
Milk can give you everything your body needsnow.
牛奶现在无法为你提供身体所需。
It isn enough to keep your little tummyfull anymore,
它已经喂不饱你的小肚肚了，
you need real food.
你需要真正的食物。
You will try all the yummy foodMommy and Daddy eat.
你会尝试各种妈妈爸爸吃的美味食物。
II. Talking about developmental needs 谈谈成长的需要
It will also help you practice moving your lipsand jaw.

It is very important for your development,

but that doesn meanMommy doesn love you anymore.
但是这不意味着妈妈不再爱你了。
I will make your new food with lots of love.
我会给你做很多新的充满爱的好吃的。
We will also still have lots of Mommy and [Childs name] cuddle time.
我们还是会有很多妈妈和【宝宝的名字】的抱抱时间。
Drinking less of Mommys milk just means you are getting bigger
吃妈妈的奶少了只是意味着你长大了，
中文说“吃妈妈的奶”，但是英文要用drink。
and will get bigger hugs.
会得到更大的拥抱。
We can read, paint, build, and dance together
我们可以一起读书、画画、搭积木、跳舞，
all because you are a big girl.
都因为你是大孩子了。
男宝宝家庭将girl换为boy。
You are not a babyanymore!
你不再是小婴儿了！
